There’s nothing quite like having different foliage plants to give interesting shapes and textures in the garden. From the evergreens to the deciduous. The soft and woolly contrasting with the spikey. Large leaves contrasting with small intricate leaves. Along with all of the hues of green, red and yellow that occur throughout Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Put them together and you've got a recipe for good structure and visual interest.
As a photographer I want my foliage plants to stand out from each other. Contrasting shapes, foliage size, colours and textures is so important to me.
